Real Madrid CF and Facundo Campazzo have agreed to extend the player’s contract, which is linked to the club during the next three seasons.

According to the EuroLeague press release:

Reigning Turkish Airlines EuroLeague champion Real Madrid re-signed Facu Campazzo, one of the integral pieces from its title run, on a three-year deal. Campazzo (1.79 meters, 27 years old) has played two EuroLeague seasons, both with Madrid, and taken home the crown in both of them. Last season his role was significantly larger than in his debut campaign; Campazzo started a team-high 28 games and averaged 7.9 points, 4.5 assists and 1.4 steals per game. He ranked second in the league in steals and 11th in assists. Campazzo started his career with Penarol Mar del Plata in his native Argentina and played six seasons for the club’s senior squad before signing with Madrid in 2014. He helped Penarol to four Argentinian championships in that period. After his first season with Madrid, Campazzo played two on loan for UCAM Murcia in Spain. In addition to his EuroLeague rings and two Spanish championships with Madrid, Campazzo has also suited up for the Argentinian national team, with which he won the gold medal at the 2012 South American Championship, silver medals at the 2015 and 2017 Americas Championships and the bronze medal at the 2013 Americas Championship.
