As Eurohoops had reported Jordan Mickey left the NBA and the Miami Heat for Europe and Khimki Moscow Region.

The Russian club found a versatile and athletic big man who will replace Thomas Robinson.

As coach Georgios Bartzokas said: “Jordan is a player who fits well in our system. He is a very versatile and athletic guy, who can do a lot of things on the court. At the same time, he is a great person as we had a talk with his ex coaches, teammates and everybody said the best about him. Jordan has ambitions and big desire to play at the highest level. I’m sure, we will help him also as well as he will help Khimki to achieve our goals. I wanted to sign him even last year but didn’t have a chance”.

During last season Mickey played 23 games in the NBA with the Miami Heat, averaging 4 ppg, 3.6 rebounds, 0.4 blocks and 0.3 assists in 12.3 minutes.
