Alec Peters started his debut EuroLeague season averaging 6.8 points and 2.8 rebounds in CSKA’s six first matches. In the latest “Focus on” video, he talked about his adjustment to life in Moscow and the differences between European and American basketball.

On his decision to join the Russians he said: “I knew some of the American guys here. Obviously I knew the success the club has each year”.

His coach, Dimitris Itoudis, pointed out: “His adjustment is quick for a rookie in European basketball. That’s not easy, we must understand that”,

Kyle Hines also commented on 23-year-old Peters: “He’s an excellent shooter, but he’s not only that. His maturity, his sense of knowing the moment and where he’s at, he’s definitely made an impression to me”.

About his team’s goals, Peters said: “I’m looking forward to competing for championships, I fully expect us to compete for the European championship at the end of the year”.
