Olimpia Milano announced that center Arturas Gudaitis underwent examinations Saturday (2/2) that revealed injuries on the player’s left knee ACL and proximal tibia.

The announcement mentioned that Gudaitis has begun therapy and his status will be “periodically re-evaluated”. No further specification on the exact type of the injures or timetable of the player’s return to action is given.

Gudaitis suffered the injuries in the second quarter of Friday’s Milano away win over Gran Canaria. Following the game, Milano head coach Simone Pianigiani had said that the player most likely broke his ACL.

Gudaitis averages 12.5 points, 7.1 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in EuroLeague this season.
