Milan has had a disappointing season and many changes are expected this summer. One of them is expected to be at the head coach position and the Italian club is interested in Xavi Pascual, Ettore Messina, and David Blatt, according to Encestando.

Xavi Pascual has been free since parting ways with Panathinaikos in December 2018 while Messina has been with the San Antonio Spurs since 2014. In Blatt’s case, despite the report, he is under contract with Olympiacos and he is currently planning the next season with the Reds.

Milano had a tough season under coach Simone Pianigiani in which they ended up empty-handed after losing in the Italian Cup quarterfinals, the Italian League semifinals and failing to qualify for the Euroleague playoffs. And that’s why despite the fact that he has a valid contract for next season, nothing seems written in stone at the moment.

Having said that Milan’s priority is currently GM position after the decision of Livio Proli to step down. “La Gazzetta Dello Sport” suggested that the team wants to hire Maurizio Gherardini or Claudio Coldebella for that role.
