Efes Anadolu winning the derby

Efes host Fenerbahce in the Turkish derby of the Euroleague and the hosts definitely have a small advantage for the win. CSKA can prevail easily over Zalgiris.

Panathinaikos have the worst offense in the Top 16 with 71 points on average. Scoring 82 points against Darussafaka last week increased that average, but certainly on Cedevita’s home court it won’t be so easy to score more than 77 points.

Exactly the same goes for Olymiacos, who have 71 points on average. Khimki are a team who are… throwing flames in offense due to the high tempo of their games, but at the same time they’re also the second best team defensively in the Top 16 in percentage per possessions! So, it’s going to be difficult for the “red-and-whites” to score more than 78 points, which is the limit.

Zalgiris concede many points in every game, the only exception being the game against Olympiacos (55). The Lithuanians have conceded 89, 96, 92 and 111 points in the other four games. On the other side, CSKA are the best team offensively with 90 points on average in the Euroleague and they can definitely exceed the limit of 87,5 points. Also, the difference of the two teams is very big. CSKA usually wins these games easily and they will likely exceed the handicap of 11,5 points.

In the Turkish derby Efes host Fenerbahce, with the latter being in a more comfortable position due to the undefeated record they have so far in the Euroleague. Efes have a 3-2 record and they surely see this game as an opportunity to go higher and can take advantage of Sloukas’ and Antic’s injuries.
