The re-elected president of KK Crvena Zvezda, Nebojsa Covic, spoke to Serbian media after the general assembly of the club and he revealed that they are interested in bringing Charles Jenkins back to the team.

According to sources close to the situation, the two sides are already in talks and the American guard might wear the jersey of Red Star again. It is worth noting that not only has Jenkins performed the best basketball of his European career so far in Belgrade, but he was also extremely loved by the Zvezda fans. So, naturally, he is open to a possible return. Dont’t forget that when he departed in summer of 2015 in order to join Olimpia Armani Milano, he had written a letter saying “Belgrade will always be home”.

The 27-year old player comes from a successful season in Italy, where he celebrated the double with Milano.

In Red Star he was crowned ABA League and Serbian champion in 2015, while winning the Serbian Cup in 2014 and 2015.

Covic also confirmed once more that the club is interested in acquiring Spurs draftee Nikola Milutinov from Olympiacos. However he dismissed the idea that Jacob Pullen will sign with the team, even though the two sides appeared to be near a deal.
