After emerging victoriously over Fenerbahce on Sunday, Tofas announced the addition of former NBAer Chris Copeland. The 32-year-old forward last played for the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2015-16 season.

Copeland went undrafted in the 2006 NBA draft and was soon after acquired by the Fort Worth Flyers of the NBA Development League. In 2007, Copeland signed with L’Hospitalet in Spain, though he finished the season in Matrixx Magixx in the Netherlands. The next two seasons he played for TBB Trier in Germany, before moving to Okapi Aalstar in Belgium the next year.

In July 2012, Copeland signed a one-year deal with the New York Knicks and went on to average 13.8 points in five games for the Knicks during the 2012 NBA Summer League. He then played for Indiana Pacers for 2 seasons before ending up in the Milwaukee Bucks.
