BAXI Manresa made a big comeback in the fourth quarter but it ended up being too late as UNET Holon got away with a narrow 67-65 road win.

Holon improved to 6-6 in Group A as they keep fighting for the fourth spot while Manresa now holds a 7-5 record after their first home loss this season in Basketball Champions League.

TJ Cline led the way with 16 points and nine rebounds while Marcus Foster followed with 15 points in addition to Joe Alexander’s 13 points. Alexander also grabbed eight boards.

For Manresa, Juampi Vaulet notched a double-double with 18 points and 11 boards while Luke Nelson added 16 (4-8 from deep) and Dani Perez ten points. Ryan Toolson was out of the roster due to foot pain.

Holon was up 21-16 after ten minutes and kept the distance by halftime (36-31). They went on a run after the break increasing the gap to 20 points (56-36) and although Manresa managed to make it a one-possession game with a big comeback, the Israeli squad held on and emerged victorious. Dani Perez had a chance to tie or win the game for Manresa with the clock expiring but fell short.
