Arnoldas Kulboka inked a two-year contract extension with RETAbet Bilbao, the Spanish outlet announced on Friday confirming previous reports on a deal between the two sides.

Kulboka, 22, joined the Basque club last summer. The Zalgiris Kaunas youth academy product and former Brose Bamberg player continued his upward trend with solid showings during his first ACB run.

Assisted by the Lithuanian’s 8.5 points and 3.6 rebounds per game, his team ranked fifth up to the suspension of the 2019-20 ACB campaign, due to the coronavirus pandemic. Bilbao is among the 12 top-tier clubs set to resume action next week.

The 2020-21 season will mark Kulboka’s Basketball Champions League comeback with his side joining FIBA’s premier club competition. He previously played in 38 BCL contests between Bamberg and Orlandina.

The Charlotte Hornets retain his NBA rights since drafting him 55th overall in 2018.
