Casademont Zaragoza announced Friday that Vit Krejci will move to the U.S.A. and continue recovering from his left knee injury under the supervision of the Oklahoma City Blue staff in coordination with the Basketball Champions League club. The youngster underwent surgery in September.

Krejci, 20, was picked 37th overall in the 2020 NBA draft by the Washington Wizards and subsequently traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder. He requested the move to the Thunder’s affiliate organization but remains contracted with the Spanish team.

The G League side presented the Czech point guard as a member of the 2021 roster on Thursday.

The latest BCL player prepped for the NBA jump averaged 2.4 points and 1.5 rebounds per contest in the 2019-20 edition of FIBA’s premier club continental competition.
