Vit Krejci was ruled out of the rest of the 2020-21 season by Casademont Zaragoza, the team announced Sunday. He suffered a left knee injury in Friday’s ACB game against Real Madrid and will undergo surgery in the coming days.

Krejci, 20, joined Zaragoza at 14 and went on for his pro debut two years later, 2017. The season-ending injury knocked him out of the 2019-20 Basketball Champions Final Eight, the following 2020-21 BCL season, and the rest of the recently-launched ACB campaign.

His debut Champions League run featured 2.4 points and 1.5 rebounds per game. The Czech point guard added 3.4 points per match at the domestic level.
