Lenovo Tenerife was considered the big favorite in the duel against Igokea as they also routed the opponent in the first clash but they had to work extra hard for this one, winning 80-75 in the end.

Giorgi Shermadini and Bruno Fitipaldo scored 21 and 16 points respectively for the victors while Santi Yusta added ten.

On the opposing side, Jackie Carmichael banked in game-high 26 points to try and push Igokea to an upset win together with Steven Gray who scored 15 but it wasn’t enough.

The Spaniards improved to 3-1 with this win as they lead Group J together with Hereda San Pablo Burgos (2-0) which is yet to play the third game. Igokea follows with 1-2 and Riga has lost all three games so far.

The lead was switching sides multiple times as Igokea didn’t want to let go and even led at halftime (35-34), however, a 19-6 run by Tenerife late in the third and early in the fourth quarter decided the outcome.
