Trevis Simpson is the latest newcomer for Brose Bamberg, the team announced Wednesday.

Simpson, 29, returns to Germany’s easyCredit BBL and is up for the Basketball Champions League qualifiers after debuting in the FIBA’s premier European club competition with RASTA Vechta back in 2019-20 season.

The former UNC Greensboro standout spent the 2020-21 season in Turkey attached to Gaziantep. He logged 12.4 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per BSL match.

Joel-Sadu Aminu, Marvin Omuvwie, Patrick Heckmann, and Justin Robinson have already been added by Bamberg this summer.

The German side will need to eliminate Juventus or the Kapfenberg Bulls and then overcome Mornar or Kalev/Cramo or Sporting CP to clinch a BCL Regular Season berth.
