Mornar Bar stayed busy with summer reinforcements by adding Trey Lewis for the next season, the team announced Saturday.

Lewis, 28, has become a regular in Europe since coming out of Louisville in 2016. His next stop brings up the Basketball Champions League qualifiers with his side hoping to clinch a Regular Season berth early in the 2021-22 season.

He last played for Maccabi Rishon LeZion. His 2020-21 campaign generated 14.3 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 1.0 steals per match in Israel’s Winner League.

The previous summer signings for the Montenegrin side landed Corey Davis Jr., Strahinja Micovic, Milija Mikovic, and Gligorije Rakocevic at Bar.

The team will contest Kalev/Cramo or Sporting CP in the BCL second qualifying round. The prevailing side will take on one of Brose Bamberg, Juventus, or Kapfenberg Bulls with a place in the Regular Season hanging in the balance.
