Ron Curry has signed with VEF Riga, the team announced Friday.

Curry, 28, started the 2019-20 season at the Latvian team. He departed for a second stint with Falco Szombathely, among the Basketball Champions League Regular Season Group D opponents of VEF Riga.

The American guard has also displayed his talents in Slovenia and Germany, besides Latvia and Hungary, since coming out of James Madison in 2016. He last played in Hungary for Alba Fehervar averaging 12.5 points, 4.6 assists, and 3.7 rebounds per match.

He is the sixth new player this summer after Anrijs Miska, Quincy Ford, Ilja Gromovs, Maris Gulbis, and Jalen Riley. Also, Alexander Madsen, Kristers Zoriks, Artis Ate, and Emils Krumins have re-signed.

Apart from Falco, VEF Riga is set up against AEK and one more team coming out of the qualifying rounds in the next BCL Regular Season.
