AEK announced the addition of Giorgos Bogris for the upcoming season. The 32 years old big man returns to Greece after spending the last two years in Iberostar Tenerife.

The Greek center will wear the jersey of AEK for the first time after playing for Ilysiakos, Panathinaikos, Peristeri, Aris, Panionios, PAOK, Olympiacos, Promitheas Patras, and also Bilbao.

Bogris had a message not only for his signing but also for the wildfires that plagued Greece: “It is customary for August in our basketball world to be a month full of joy and impatience for new beginnings. This year, however, our thoughts are with our fellow human beings, who have been hit hard by the fires. I wish good strength, and with unity, love, solidarity to bring life back to our place”.
