Basketball Champions League Round of 16 Week 2 Preview

No time to waste as the 16 remaining contenders dive into Gameday 2 of the Basketball Champions League Round of 16. Eight games evenly split between Tuesday and Wednesday, spread across the continent, shape the second week of action.

Riding a 13-game winning streak in home games of the Champions League, UCAM Murcia plays host to Surne Bilbao that has yet to taste defeat on the road this season. The matchup at Palacio de Deportes will be held Tuesday. The third team of Spain’s Liga Endesa in Group L, Lenovo Tenerife is visiting Darussafaka Lassa Wednesday.

A couple of Wednesday games shape the Group I schedule, specifically the first-ever French and Israeli matchups in competition history. JDA Dijon and SIG Strasbourg are the Betclic Elite LNB Pro A part, while Winner League participants Hapoel Atsmon Holon and Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem get in the mix as well.

In Group K, Unicaja will be seeking a fourth win in as many away games challenging Limoges CSP at Beaublanc. The other Gameday 2 affair pits Galatasaray Nef and AEK against each other. Both contests are scheduled for Tuesday.

As for Group J, Telekom Baskets Bonn packing six wins in a row will visit BAXI Manresa Wednesday. Rytas Vilnius and Bahcesehir Koleji are set to tip off Gameday 2 Tuesday.
