Following the recent signing of Austin Wiley, Tofas Bursa continues to make waves with the addition of former Bayern Munich player Cassius Winston.

The 25-year-old point guard originally entered the European basketball scene after a two-season stint between Washington Wizards and G League, where he was selected in the second round, 50th overall, in the 2020 NBA Draft.

Winston played a pivotal role as Bayern Munich’s main playmaker and had some impressive performances throughout his rookie season in Europe. However, as his contract with the club came to an end this summer, Tofas saw an opportunity to secure his talents.

During the previous season, Cassius Winston participated in 29 EuroLeague games, contributing an average of 11.0 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game.

With the Swedish national team, he couldn’t bring his team to the 2023 FIBA World Cup. However, he still averaged crazy numbers: 19.3 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 8.1 assists per game.
