Earning a big lead early, King Wilki Morskie Szczecin eventually settled for the 93-85 victory versus Dinamo Banco di Sardegna Sassari on Tuesday.

A great debut in the Basketball Champions League. The same goes for 23-year-old forward Morris Udeze behind a 19-point, 10-rebound double-double in the Gameday 1 affair of Regular Season’s Group D. Producing a major highlight early in his first professional campaign was accompanied by two steals and one assist.

Jonathan Dunn and Avery Woodson put in 14 points apiece, and Tony Meier added 13 points. Dominating for large stretches at Netto Arena, the Poland champions jumped to 1-0, forcing the visitors to 0-1 in the four-team group.

Ousmane Diop produced 15 points, seven rebounds, and two steals in the losing effort. Experienced Croatian Filip Kruslin shared the team-high 15 points in Szczecin.

Giganti was down by a margin of 27 points before reducing the deficit in the fourth quarter. Both Tommaso Raspino and Eimantas Bendzius were unavailable for head coach Piero Bucchi.
