After reaching the Basketball Champions League Final Four with Peristeri bwin, Vassilis Spanoulis attracted interest from other European clubs, but he decided to stay with the Greek team.
According to Eurohoops sources, Spanoulis and Peristeri have a deal for the next season.
The legendary player, who started coaching Peristeri two years ago, decided to remain in Greece and balance his duties between Peristeri and the Greek National Team.
He began his coaching journey with the EuroLeague U18 Next Generation Select Team and transitioned to Peristeri in 2022.
This season, he guided the Greek side to the BCL Final Four in Belgrade, and despite finishing fourth, Spanoulis received the Coach of the Year award.
