AEK broke Riga’s resistance in second half for another BCL victory

AEK recorded a win in Athens in the fourth round of the Basketball Champions League, defeating Riga at home 95-64.

Frank Bartley was excellent for the home team, finishing with 23 points and four assists. Chris Silva contributed 16 points and nine rebounds, while RaiQuan Gray added ten points.

For the visitors, Kristaps Kilps and Ilya Sidorov each scored 13 points.

AEK delivered another strong performance in the BCL. Although Riga kept pace and the first half ended in a tie (41-41), the Athenians put on an excellent display after the break, winning the third quarter decisively (24-7) and comfortably closing out the game.

AEK remains undefeated in the competition, now at 4-0 after four games, and will look to continue their streak in Athens against Levice. On the other hand, Riga has lost all four games and will seek their first victory at home against Szolnoki Olaj.
