John Petrucelli is set to join Galatasaray, leaving Trapani for Istanbul, as reported by Pianeta Basket and officially confirmed. Petrucelli signed until the end of the season.

He will reunite with coach Gianmarco Pozzecco, who gave him his debut with the Italian national team.

The move comes amid uncertainty at Trapani, with the club’s future hanging ahead of the upcoming LBA and FIP meeting on Monday.

Petrucelli is among the last key players to leave the Sharks, with Adama Sanogo also reportedly close to a move to Hapoel Holon.

In his fifth season in Italy, including three with Brescia, Petrucelli has averaged 9.9 points, 3 assists, and 1.9 rebounds per game. In the Basketball Champions League, he has contributed 6.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game.

Hapoel Holon adds Darrin Green Jr.

Hapoel Holon has officially signed shooting guard Darrin Green Jr., the 25-year-old standout who will turn 26 next week. Standing 1.93 meters tall, Green arrives from Serbian side SPD Radnički, where he competed in both the top Serbian League and the Adriatic League.

Green made a major impact, leading the Serbian League in scoring with 20.6 points per game, along with 3.1 rebounds and 1.6 assists, while shooting an impressive 47.1% from three-point range. His most remarkable performance came in December, when he dropped 52 points in a 111–102 win over OKK Belgrade, hitting 13 of 23 shots from beyond the arc.

In the Adriatic League, Green also impressed, averaging 19.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game. With his scoring prowess and experience in European competition, he is expected to provide a significant boost to Hapoel Holon this season.
