Several clubs are rapidly locking in key talent as they await the official participant list reveal for the 2026–27 Basketball Champions League season.
Leading the charge, Trabzonspor officially announced the addition of Emanuel Terry on Monday. The 29-year-old forward-center brings valuable top-tier experience to the roster of the Turkish side, including 16 BCL games with Teksut Bandirma and Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem in the 2019–20 season. Terry joins an ambitious squad that recently confirmed the signings of Brady Manek, Troy Caupain, and Tolga Gecim.
Across Europe, other projected participants are securing their long-term stability. In France, SIG Strasbourg fortified its foundation by extending head coach Janis Gailitis and guard Abdoulaye N’doye through 2028. They also welcomed back young prospect Maxence Lemoine on a competitive deal extending to 2029.
Meanwhile, Hungarian NB I/A champions Falco Szombathely boosted their perimeter depth by signing versatile guard Uros Rosic to a 1+1 year contract, anchoring a domestic nucleus that features stars Zoltan Perl and Benedek Varadi. In Italy, UnaHotels Reggio Emilia prolonged the stay of forward Tomas Woldetensae through the 2027/28 campaign, while Israel’s Bnei PenLink Herzliya secured rising talent Amit Menachem on a three-year agreement.
Qualification Rounds contenders are moving just as fast to build out their depth. Rio Breogan has added firepower by bringing in Tevin Brown and Aleksa Ilic, alongside an extension for Danko Brankovic. Additionally, newly crowned Finnish champions Salon Vilpas reinforced their competitive ranks by adding Mikael Aalto, Aamos Laavainen, and Simeon Stefanovic.
