Alex Antetokounmpo has officially signed with Promitheas Vikos Cola for the 2026–27 season, the Greek club announced Saturday.

This high-profile addition injects significant size and athleticism into the Patras roster for their upcoming campaign. Standing 2.03 meters tall, the versatile 24-year-old forward brings a wealth of global experience to the squad. Born on August 27, 2001, the Greek-Nigerian prospect is the youngest brother of NBA superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, alongside Thanasis, Kostas, and Francis.

Alex launched his career at Dominican High School in the United States before transitioning to Europe in 2020 with Spanish side UCAM Murcia, where he featured for both the senior and development teams. He returned stateside for the 2021–22 season to compete in the G League with Raptors 905, subsequently joining the Wisconsin Herd the following year. His journey continued through the 2023–24 campaign, starting with the Herd before he pivoted to Lithuania to represent M Basket. During the 2024–25 season, he suited up for Podgorica in Montenegro before making his initial return to Greece to play for PAOK.

The forward began last season with Aris before heading across the Atlantic once more. That pivotal move culminated in his official NBA debut with the Milwaukee Bucks, where he logged six appearances, averaging 3.2 points and one rebound per game.

Now back in his home country, the Athens native joins a re-engineered roster gearing up for the Basketball Champions League Qualification Rounds in a bid to secure a spot in the Regular Season. Under newly appointed head coach Giorgos Vovoras, the club has aggressively fortified its lineup, recently securing critical commitments from Zac Cuthbertson, New Williams, Haris Paraskevopoulos, Periklis Kouroupakis, Nikos Diplaros, and Joirdon Nicholas.
