The Basketball Champions League market continues to explode with activity ahead of the 2026–27 season, with multiple clubs completing major roster additions.

SuperSport Premijer Liga champion Cibona secured New York native Rickey McGill, a seasoned 29-year-old point guard who previously showcased his skills in twelve BCL fixtures with Slovakia’s Patrioti Levice, tallying 19.1 points per contest in the Regular Season of Season X, powered by Ameresco SUNEL. The Iona product brings a wealth of global experience to Croatia, having previously played in Great Britain, Poland, Hungary, Estonia, Greece, and New Zealand.

Meanwhile, Italian outfit UnaHotels Reggio Emilia strengthened their perimeter by inking shooting guard Rob Edwards to a one-year agreement. The Detroit native, who appeared in two NBA games for the Oklahoma City Thunder, is set to make his continental debut under the guidance of head coach Dimitris Priftis.

Germany’s BMA365 Bamberg Baskets also injected fresh talent into their backcourt, locking down playmaker Jordan Jones on a two-year contract. Standing at 1.85 meters, the newcomer will also experience his first taste of European action under strategist Jesus Ramirez.

Looking toward the group stage, Juventus bolstered their Group E campaign by acquiring former Clemson standout Chase Hunter, who transitions to Lithuania after a single year in the G League.

In Group F, Hapoel Holon finalized a deal for 23-year-old guard Claudell Harris Jr., who recorded 9.2 points per game during his initial Champions League run with Promitheas Vikos Cola. His arrival follows earlier offseason acquisitions Shahar Amir, Greg Lee III, and Rivaldo Soares.

Teams competing in the preliminary phase similarly fine-tuned their rotations. Cyprus-based Petrolina AEK Larnaca brought youthful energy into their frontcourt by securing 24-year-old forward Owen Dease, while Poland’s Dziki Warszawa reinforced their squad by capturing 25-year-old Joseph Girard III.
