Besiktas will sign Earl Clark with a new contract that will keep him on board for one more year, according to Eurohoops sources.
While the American power forward had attracted the interest other European clubs and even powerhouses like Olympiacos he chose to remain with Besiktas.
The player’s new contract will earn him an increased salary in comparison with the previous season. But this was not the only reason that kept him in Istanbul since the good relationship with head coach Ufuk Sarica proved to be a big factor on the new deal.
Clark finished the season averaging 13.8 points plus 6.1 rebounds in the Turkish league.
