AS Monaco got their eighth straight victory in the Basketball Champions League as they beat Juventus Utena on the road 92-85. The French team stands on a perfect 8-0 record now, while Juventus is 2-6. ‘

It was a high-paced game that suited better to the visiting team as they had enough power to seal the deal down the last stretch. But definitely not a walk in the park for Monaco since their opponents put up a great fight especially in the first half.

The visiting squad opened the game with an 11-3 run, but it didn’t take much for Juventus to erase the deficit as they were trailing only 48-47 after the first 20 minutes of the match.

The Key: Team coached by Zvezdan Mitrovic had an 8-0 run in the beginning of the last quarter. That was the decisive moment in the game as Juventus didn’t have enough energy to come back after that.

The Star: Amara Sy led Monaco, scoring 21 points while Paul Lacombe finished with 13.

Not enough: LaRon Dendy had 23 points for Juventus, but tonight that was not good enough.
