Pinar Karsiyaka will have to come back 6 points in Turkey after trailing 74 – 68 in Thessaloniki against PAOK. The hosts dominated the second half and they will defend their advantage next week.

The defense made the difference for the Greek team during 17 minutes in the second half. However, KSK managed to score 14 points in the last three minutes to stay alive in the playoffs.

PAOK was in control during the first half (20 – 13, 9′) but Karsiyaka wasn’t going to be easily defeated. The Turkish side reduced the deficit to just two points with two quarters left.

The home side slowed down Pinar Karsiyaka in the third -they scored just two points in the first 5 minutes- and PAOK reached a double-digit lead (51 – 40, 27). Then, they blew a 19-point advantage.

Phil Goss and Darnell Jackson had 13 each for the winners while Mr. MVP DJ Kennedy led the visiting side with 16 points, 8 rebounds, 4 dimes and 4 steals.
