Charis Giannopoulos and AEK Athens officially agreed on a 2+1 contract. Former Rethymno player averaged 10.8 points and 2.9 rebounds last season in the Greek league.
Giannopoulos spent three seasons with the Southern Greek team and has played for Obradoiro and Manresa in Spain, Panathinaikos, PAOK, Peristeri, Panionios and Olympiacos in Greece. The 28-year-old player is also part of the Greek NT and was part of the preselection for EuroBasket 2017.
