MHP Riesen announced the signing of Trevor Mbakwe to a one-year deal on Wednesday.
29-year-old Mbakwe spent the previous season with Fiat Torino, averaging 12.7 points and 7.4 rebounds per game in the Italian Serie A.
The 2018 Italian Cup champion is no stranger with the German league, as he played for Brose Bamberg during the 2014-15 season when he also won the domestic championship with the team. Ever since he’s been part of Maccabi Tel Aviv and Zenit St. Petersburg.
