Strasbourg is not perfect anymore. Neptunas Klaipeda defended their home court and got the 92-83 win over the French side in Group D of the Basketball Champions League.
Jerai Grant with 18 points and 12 rebounds led a balanced effort, while Tomas Delininkaitis added 17 points for the winners.
Jeremy Nzeulie with 22 points tried his best, but after building a 52-44 lead Neptunas never looked back. The guests tried to steal the game at the end while trailing by four points (87-83) in the last minute of action.
However, they couldn’t score after that and Neptunas got the crucial win, which gives them a 2-2 record, while Strasbourg dropped to 3-1.
