Marcos Knight scores 27 in BCL debut, Ludwigsburg overcomes Anwil

Marcos Knight proved to be a great addition to MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg as he put on a strong performance in the 87-74 road win against Anwil, his debut in the Basketball Champions League.

The 29-year-old guard nailed game-high 27 points while shooting 11-12 twos and 1-2 threes. He also added six rebounds, five assists and four steals for a total efficiency rating of 39. Owen Klassen followed with 17 points, 18 rebounds and 36 efficiency rating.

For Anwil, Valerii Likhodei scored 19 and Nikola Markovic 11 points. They both added six rebounds each.

Ludwigsburg improved to 3-8 staying alive in the playoff race while Anwil stands at a 4-7 record in Group A.
