Banvit’s Alex Perez nailed a triple for the overtime and the Turkish squad dominated the extra five minutes on their way to a 95-84 road win on Day 13 of Basketball Champions League.
Perez finished the game with 18 points and six assists (three in overtime) in addition to D.J. Shelton’s game-high 27 points and nine rebounds. Gary Neal scored 19 points while McKenzie Moore notched a double-double with 13 points and 11 assists.
For Anwil, Jaroslaw Zyskowski scored 22 and Michal Michalak 18 points while Aaron Broussard and Nikola Markovic added 11 each.
Banvit improved to 9-4 while Anwil now stands at a 4-9 record in Group A.
