With the Basketball Champions League playoffs bid hanging in the balance, revamped PAOK overpowered Neptunas Klaipeda, 86-80, at the Svyturio Arena on Tuesday evening.

It wasn’t a spectacular BCL debut for Bobby Brown, but the experienced scorer banked a clutch three with 17 seconds to go. Only 1/4 beyond the arc and 2/8 from the field, but made his shot count when it mattered most.

The 35-year-old American point guard got to 11 points by handing Kostas Charalampidis’ club an 84-80 lead. Additionally, Adam Smith poured a game-high 18 points in the Regular Season Gameday 10 contest.

Tomas Rinkevicius got 16 points from Deividas Gailius and 15 from Tomas Delininkaitis. However his side failed to land the finishing punch despite jumping to an 11-point lead early in the last quarter.

Both teams now sit at 4-6 looking from the outside towards the four playoffs spots of Group D.
