Patrick Beverley has been officially announced as a new PAOK player, marking one of the most high-profile signings in the club’s recent history and signaling a bold new era for the Thessaloniki side.
The arrival of the seasoned NBA guard confirms reports surrounding the ambitious transfer plans of PAOK’s new owner, Greek billionaire Telis Mystakidis.
Beverley’s signing completes a trio of targeted additions envisioned by Mystakidis, following the earlier arrivals of Bryn Tyree and Timmy Allen, both of whom had already been confirmed by the club in recent weeks.
Beverley, 36, brings an imposing résumé to PAOK, having spent more than a decade in the NBA with teams such as the Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Clippers, Minnesota Timberwolves, Chicago Bulls, and Philadelphia 76ers.
A former Olympiacos player (2009–10), Beverley last played in Europe with Hapoel Tel Aviv under coach Dimitris Itoudis.
