Spain names 16-player selection for February Qualifiers

Seeded in Group G of the FIBA World Cup European Qualifiers, Spain will seek to defend its 2019 title as they head into the second window this February. Sergio Scariolo has picked his 16-man preliminary roster, which will compete against Ukraine, on February 24 and February 27, setting sights on the 2023 event.

Josep Puerto highlights the list with his first-ever call to join the selection, while Ferran Bassas, Rubén Guerrero, and Francis Alonso, will make their return this February after missing the November window.

Spain remains undefeated in Group G, after beating North Macedonia and Georgia in the November Qualifiers.
