On Thursday, the first eight matches were played in groups A, B, C, and D, after which the situation in these groups became much clearer.
Now it’s time for the teams from groups E, F, G, and H to complete the fifth round.
Group F
Poland achieved a significant and very convincing victory in Austria, defeating the hosts 123-77.
Even eight players in the Polish team scored in double figures, with Lukasz Kolenda being the most efficient with 23 points and six assists. For Austria, Nico Zeleznik scored 14 points.
Group G
Finland secured an important victory on their home court, defeating Hungary 85-77.
Lauri Markkanen was, as usual, the best with 21 points, Edon Maxhuni scored 20, while Gyorgy Goloman added 18 for Hungary.
Group H
Estonia achieved a convincing victory on their home court, defeating Slovenia 93-62.
Stefan Vaaks scored 20 points and provided seven assists, while Maik Kotsar was close to a triple-double with 12 points, 12 rebounds, and nine assists.
For Slovenia, who played without Luka Doncic, the only player scoring in double digits was Gregor Horvat with 11 points.
