Croatia achieved their fourth victory in the fifth round of the FIBA World Cup qualifiers, winning 123-50 in Cyprus.
Cyprus showed at the last EuroBasket that they are still not on the level to compete with more serious European teams, which was evident again as Croatia, with a powerful lineup, secured an away win.
Mario Hezonja was particularly impressive, achieving a triple-double in this match. He finished the game with 11 points, 10 rebounds, and 13 assists, resulting in a PIR of 29.
Ivica Zubac had 24 points and 11 rebounds, while Dario Saric also recorded a double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds. For Cyprus, only Stefanos Tigkas scored in double digits with 10 points.
Croatia will finish the first phase in three days with a match against Israel, while Cyprus will visit Germany.
