Varese announced that Massimo Bulleri has become the team’s new head coach. He is replacing Attilio Caja.
Bulleri, who retired as a player with the jersey of Varese in 2017, was previously an assistant coach on the team during 2017-2019. Throughout his career as a player, Bulleri won numerous domestic titles in Italy, plus the 1999 Saporta Cup.
Varese’s next game and Bulleri’s debut will be against powerhouse Olimpia Milano for the Italian Supercup.
