Virtus Bologna bounces back with convincing win in Pistoia

Virtus Segafredo Bologna faced a bit of trouble in the Italian Legabasket, suffering consecutive losses to Olimpia Milano and Reyer Venice.

However, Luca Banchi’s side got back to winning ways in Round 13, convincingly defeating Pistoia on the road with a final score of 70-91.

Marco Belinelli led the way with 19 points, while Bryant Dunston also had a great game with 18 points. Daniel Hackett added 17 points for the winning side, and Tornike Shengelia finished the match with 16, as Virtus improved to 9-4 in the Legabasket standings.

Pistoia, who defeated Olimpia Milano this season, fell to 6-7, with only three players in double digits. Payton Willis had 14, Gerry Blakes 13, and Carl Wheatle 11 points for the losing side. The team’s leading scorer and one of the best in the entire league, Charlie Moore, added nine points.
