Avellino wins double-overtime thriller over Milano

Avellino got the dramatic 94-92 road win in Milan. The guests needed 50 minutes to improve their record to 6-2 in what was one of the games of the season.

The guests had the lead almost for the entire game but Milano managed to send it to overtime, during which Curtis Jerrells made a big three to put the hosts in front with one second left. Everything seemed to be decided but Ariel Filloy dropped one of the buckets of the year at the buzzer forcing the second overtime.

In the end, Jason Rich made the decisive basket and Avellino got the win. Filloy and Rich scored 21 each for the winners, followed by Ndiaye Hamady who dominated the paint with 16 and 12 rebounds.

For Milano Jerrells had 23 points, Jordan Theodore 18 and Arturas Gudaitis 17 points and also 9 rebounds.
