Fiat Turin vice president Francesco Forni accused Carlos Delfino of having an “almost violent behavior” against following the loss of the team to Sidigas Avellino for the Italian League.

“There was a normal confrontation with the players who were put in front of their responsibilities after the loss to Sidigas Avellino. Delfino was the only one who didn’t want to accept criticism. He had a behavior at the limit of violence towards me,” Forni said to Basket Universo. “Given his disproportionate reaction, we have decided to cut him immediately.”

Turin parted ways with head coach Larry Brown Thursday (27/12), a decision mutually agreed by both sides. The team was eliminated in EuroCup with a winless 0 – 10 regular season record and is 12th in Italy with 4-8.
