Cantu prevailed over with an 89-83 victory against Olimpia Milano on the road in Round 16 of the Italian League.
Cantu had Wes Clark scoring 21 points, while Milano’s Luis Scola and Vladimir Micov posted 21 and 20 points each.
The visiting side was in charge during the first half, leading 48-36 at halftime, though Milano started regaining its ground in the third period and even managed to get back in the lead of the game with 62-61.
Cantu wasn’t willing to give up the fight in the fourth and outscored its hosts 28-21 en route to the final win.
Milano falls to a 10-6 record with its second consecutive loss, while Cantu improved to an 8-8 record.
