Detroit Pistons forward Christian Wood tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19), per The Athletic’s Shams Charania. He’s the third NBA player found to be carrying the virus after Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert and guard Donovan Mitchell.

Charania reports that Wood hasn’t shown any symptoms.

Wood and the Pistons played against the Utah Jazz a week ago, on Saturday 7/3. The game included multiple matchups of Wood against Gobert.

On Wednesday, Wood scored a career-high 32 points in a loss to the Philadelphia 76ers. It was the Pistons’ last game before the NBA was suspended after Gobert became the first NBA player to test positive for coronavirus.
