Minnesota Timberwolves president of basketball operations Gersson Rosas talked about the team’s future in the “State of the Timberwolves” radio interview, per Zone Coverage’s Dan Moore.

He noted that the draft might be a good opportunity for trades and didn’t rule out being aggressive during the offseason. However, Rosas was also very clear that he wants both Malik Beasley and Juancho Hernangomez in Minnesota: “We want those guys to be Timberwolves for a long, long time. Hopefully, for the rest of their careers.”

The 24-year-old Spanish forward moved from Denver to Minnesota in February and averaged 12.9 points and 7.3 rebounds over 14 games. Beasley, 23, was a part of the same trade and has been posting 20.7 points per game since.
