NBA players including Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James showed their support to Adrian Wojnarowski after ESPN suspended the NBA insider due to a profane email sent to US senator Josh Hawley. “Free Woj” tweets highlight their reactions.
Wojnarowski responded “F—k you,” via email to Hawley. He later issued a public apology.
The senator wrote in his letter that the NBA is limiting messages players can wear on their jerseys for the season restart while censoring support for law enforcement and criticism of the Chinese Communist Party, CCP.
