Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot poured a game-high 24 points and Dzanan Musa reset his NBA-high at 17 points as the Brooklyn Nets secured the win, 108-96, over the Orlando Magic opening the seven-game slate for Tuesday NBA action in the NBA bubble.

Locked in the seventh and eighth seed of the Eastern Conference, both sides rested several key players taking a deep look into their rosters.

Luwawu-Cabarrot, 25, got hot early in the bubble and bounced back with 8/12 field goals including four threes, seven rebounds, and one steal in 24 minutes. In the end, he shared his game-high scoring effort with Jeremiah Martin.

Musa, 21, hit 5/15 from the field, also produced six assists, four rebounds, and one steal in 31 minutes. Also in action, Rodions Kurucs put up two points, nine rebounds, one steal, and one block.

Nikola Vucevic posted a 12-point, 10-rebound double-double in losing effort. Fellow European Evan Fournier was among the players sidelined, a list including Terrance Ross who returned to the bubble after a brief exit.

The Nets will face the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday before moving on to the first-round playoffs series against the Toronto Raptors.

The New Orleans Pelicans are up next for the Orlando organization that is locked in a best-of-seven series versus the Milwaukee Bucks.
