Moe Wagner to become free agent in 2021

The Washington Wizards have declined the fourth-year option of Moe Wagner’s contract (plus Jerome Robinson), according to Fred Katz of The Athletic. The German forward/center will thus hit the 2021 offseason as a free agent.

Wagner was traded to the Wizards by the Los Angeles Lakers in 2019 and proceeded to average 8.7 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.2 assists last season while being out 25 games due to an ankle sprain. Before his injury, he had a career-high performance of 30 points and 15 rebounds in November.
