Kyrie Irving is ruled out for his fourth consecutive game and there is no timeline on his return yet by the Brooklyn Nets. As Nets GM Sean Marks wrote in a statement issued Tuesday, Irving “remains away from the team for personal reasons”.

Videos of Irving maskless at a family birthday party circulated on social media late Monday night and the NBA, along with the Nets are currently reviewing the circumstance.

Houston’s James Harden was fined $50,000 earlier this season for violating the league’s COVID-19 protocols when he attended an indoor party in late December. Per COVID-19 policies, it’s prohibited for players to go to bars, lounges or clubs and from participating in social gatherings of more than 15 people.

Marks didn’t draw a timeline about Irving’s return and also stated the following: “Kyrie remains away from the team due to personal reasons. The date of his return has yet to be finalized…Kyrie will have the opportunity to address his absence when he is ready to do so.”
